Tips and suggestions for your automatically-sent SMS messaging settings
Step 1 - Go to the Settings section on the left side menu
Step 2 - Select SMS from the drop-down menu
Step 3 - Determine preferences
- Choose whether or not you would like your patients to receive a 'Welcome' text upon registering (right after they submit their contact information)
- Choose whether or not you would like an SMS message to be sent out when you submit a treatment plan, alerting your patients that they have an email with their treatment information in it
Step 4 - Customize your SMS messages
- If you have decided to send out a 'Welcome' text, create a personalized greeting with some information about your practice or what the patient should expect to happen with their virtual consult
- If you have chosen to send out a 'Consult Sent' text, write out a message for the patient to receive when you send out their treatment plan, or leave it as is for a short, sweet notification
Step 5 - Save!
